Our Easter Celebration – Come join us
for our annual Easter Egg Hunt and egg toss. |

April 18-20 |
Weiner Roast – We
provide the hot dogs and buns. You bring the chips and
drinks. |

April 25-27 |
Chili Cook-Off Weekend – Cook
up that favorite chili recipe to be judged and shared
with everyone. Prizes will be awarded. Anyone not
bringing chili should bring a side dish to share. |

May 2-4 |
South of the Border Weekend –
What better place to celebrate Cinco de Mayo than in
Mexico (PA, this is)? Activities include a piņata and
tacos. You bring the shells (hard or soft). We will
provide the fillings. Who knows? You may even get in a
siesta this weekend. |

May 9-11 |
Mother’s Day Weekend – Join us
for breakfast* on Saturday morning. Mothers eat free.
Saturday afternoon, join us for a program called “Down
the Garden Path” and learn how to plant and maintain
your perennials and annuals. Kids will make a gift for
mom in our Kid’s Hour. |

May 16-18 |
Pets Rule Weekend – This
weekend is devoted to pets, whether they walk, crawl,
hop or fly. Dress up your pet and yourself for our pet
costume contest and parade. We’ll also have a pet trick
contest. |

May 23-26 |
Memorial Day Weekend – Come
join us for a weekend filled with games, hayrides, a
horseshoe tournament, and a picnic. (You bring hot dogs
and hamburgers to throw on a grill and a covered dish to
share. We’ll provide the drinks.) Afterward, prepare to be entertained by DJ Chris
Hoffman from
Storm Entertainment. |

May 30 - June 1 |
Wing Dings Dinner* – On
Saturday evening, enjoy
wing dings cooked in an open iron kettle. (Bring a covered
dish.) |

June 6-8 |
Kids’ Carnival – We’ll
have activities for kids of all ages, such as face
painting, penny pitch, bottle toss, clowns, and much
more. |
|
June 13-15 |
Father’s Day Weekend – Join us
for breakfast* on Saturday morning. Fathers eat free.
Afterward, dads and their kids (moms are welcome, too)
are invited to take a guided canoe or kayak trip on the Juniata
River. Canoes and kayaks will be available at a reduced
price for this event. |

June 20-22 |
Hawaiian Luau Weekend – Break
out your hula skirts and Hawaiian shirts. On Saturday
evening, we will have a baked ham and covered dish
dinner*, followed by a pool party with DJ Rockin’ Rudy.
Decorate your site for the occasion. Prizes will be
awarded. |

July 3-6 |
Fourth of July Celebration –
Come celebrate our nation’s birthday with our annual
parade. (We decorate our hay wagon, kids’ bikes, and
golf carts and parade around the campground.) Enjoy our
annual log burning, and bring your mountain pie makers
and favorite fillings. We will provide the hot dogs and
marshmallows to roast. |

July 11-13 |
Wet and Wild Water Weekend I –
Beat the summer heat by participating in activities such
as our water gun battle (at high noon), pool water
games, and our ever popular water bomb sling shot
contest. |
|
July 18-20 |
Christmas in July – Come
join us as Santa stops by our Christmas party to deliver
gifts to the kids. There will be games and Christmas
carols. You bring the cookies, and we’ll provide the
punch. (Parents, bring a wrapped gift for your child to
the office by 3:00PM on Saturday.) Decorate your site
for the occasion. Prizes will be awarded. |

July 25-27 |
Hillbilly/Grillbillie Weekend –
Join us for some barnyard fun this weekend including
such activities as hillbilly horseshoes, pig races, and
much more. We’ll give a prize to the best-dressed
hillbilly. Also,
The Grillbillies will be here for their annual float
trip. Enjoy some great music around the campfire at
their informal jam session Saturday night. |

August 1-3 |
Pirate Weekend –
Ahoy, Maties, come join us for a weekend filled with all
kinds of pirate activities, such as making pirate
costumes, hunting for hidden treasures, & sinking a
pirate ship. |
|
August 8-10 |
Wet & Wild Weekend II –
We hope you had so much fun at our first wet & wild
weekend this summer that you will join us for a second
weekend of water fun. We’ll have another water gun
battle, more pool games and, of course, we’ll have
another water bomb sling shot contest. |
|
August 15-17 |
Oldies Weekend – Dig out your
poodle skirts and bobbie socks, slick back your hair,
dance to the oldies provided by DJ Rockin’ Rudy, and
enjoy root beer floats, hot dogs, and French fries for
50 cents each. If you want, bring your old year books,
so we can see what you looked like then and now. |

August 22-24 |
Everything Chocolate Weekend –
If you’re a chocolate lover, yyou will love this
weekend’s activities, which include candy bar Bingo,
free chocolate sundaes, after dark flashlight chocolate
candy hunt and a chocolate pudding slip & slide. |

August 29 - September 1 |
Labor Day Weekend – Come and
enjoy the end of summer with our annual chicken barbeque*
(bring a covered dish), and then be entertained by DJ
Chris Hoffman of
Storm Entertainment. Other activities will include
kids’ games and a horseshoe tournament.. |

September 5-7 |
Juniata County Fair – The fair
winds down on Saturday night with the Tuscarora 50.
Note: This is an area event. |

September 12-14 |
Chicken Corn Soup Dinner –
On Saturday evening, enjoy chicken corn soup cooked in
our
iron kettle. We will provide the chicken. You bring corn
to add to the pot and a salad or dessert. |
|
September 19-21 |
Penn State Football Weekend –
Wear your favorite team’s jersey or shirt when checking
in, and receive 10% off your camping fee (even if your
favorite team is not Penn State). On Saturday, bring
your favorite snacks to the pavilion and watch the Penn
State Game with the other fans. We’ll have a punt,
pass, and kick contest for the kids and maybe a flag
football game. |

September 26-28 |
Mountain Pie Weekend –
On Saturday evening, bring your mountain-pie makers and
ingredients for your favorite recipe to be judged. A
prize will be awarded for the best recipe. We’ll provide
the beverages and campfire. |

October |
|
October 3-5 |
Halloween I – This weekend
will be full of haunted activities such as
trick-or-treating, games, hayrides, and of course a
party in our haunted barn. Decorate your site for the
occasion. Prizes will be awarded. |

October 10-12 |
Halloween II – Enjoy
trick-or-treating, our haunted barn, and hayrides. |
|
October 17-19 |
Old Home Foliage Days – This
area event will be held on Saturday and Sunday at the
Port Royal Fairgrounds. |

Kids’ Craft Hour • Hayride followed by
Kettle Corn (weather permitting)
